Mission Statement
Timber Hill Restoration Coalition (THRC), in collaboration with MetroParks of Butler County, will develop and sustain Timber Hill youth camp at Rentschler Forest Preserve to provide an environment whereby the youth of Butler County and surrounding areas can foster independence, respect, self-confidence, leadership, teamwork, and an appreciation of the natural world.
 
Goals and Objectives
  1. Collaborate with MetroParks of Butler County in order to repair, improve and maintain Timber Hill youth camp at Rentschler Forest Preserve
    1. Solicit for donations and volunteers from various organizations, businesses and residents
    2. Solicit and secure grants
    3. Solicit yearly membership in THRC
    4. Organize and conduct work days at Timber Hill youth camp at Rentschler Forest Preserve with volunteers
    5. Coordinate the hiring of experts to complete projects that are beyond the scope of the volunteers
    6. Evaluate and advise MetroParks of Butler County on policies and procedures concerning Timber Hill youth camp at Rentschler Forest Preserve
    7. Increase public awareness of the availability, uses, benefits, and needs of Timber Hill through presentations, special activities, fundraisers and press releases
  2. Conduct a capital funds campaign
    1. Identify capital improvements that are needed
    2. Develop a capital funds campaign
    3. Identify and solicit corporate and private financial resources for contributions
    4. Identify and solicit in-kind donations
    5. Implement capital improvements
